And some trivia:
- No one bought us drinks, thereby destroying the whole point of the league and pretty much the whole reason for the existence of the Wellingtonista (getting free drinks).
- The Bowlingtonista printed their shirts themselves. Clemenger did not, but still looked very styley.
- Xero were spottable by one clever fellow wearing a company shirt.
- Someone on the Silverstripe team used to do the job that I do now.
- Clicksuite had both the highest and lowest scoring individual players – but this is about teams, not individuals. There is no ‘I’ in Wellngtonsta Bowlng League.

Did anyone take any photos? There must be pics! I refuse to believe that people so embedded in the blogsosphere and flickr didn’t have their cameras with them…
Oh dear! After all that smack talk Clemengers whupped us! Oh well, rest assured that if I had been there it would have been worse. Much worse.

I don’t remember seeing any cameras floating round.. My gadget-dar would have honed in followed by all sorts of really geeky questioning.

And to one poor lass who I left feeling so frustrated that she actually looked like she was going to dig her own eyeballs out with spoons – sorry! I promise when we bowl, I will never attempt conversation with you again. I hope you did not find any spoons in the near vicinity.
Although people really should know better than to engage someone in conversation whose nickname is derived from a speed of internet connection…
