Congratulations to everyone who took part. The full list of winners is here (this is an abbreviated list)
Cheers guys! It was a really good night on Wednesday (quite apart from getting runner-up). The standard of films was very high and hopefully the grand national final (8.30pm, 3 July on C4) will see a Wellington winner! Good luck Smashing Pants.
'Darlene' will join these fine films at the live national final, screening on C4 on 3 July.
Fractured Radius - 'The End' (Auckland)
Guerrilla Monkeys - 'Sum of All Parts' (Hamilton)
Spooce Media - 'Agent Post, or: How I Stopped Being Pretentious and Learned to Love Cliche' (Christchurch)
The Dangly Gruffnuts - 'Two Bodies, One Night' (Dunedin)
[And woteva the Gisborne winner is]
And there's also the possibility of one or two Wellington films being selected at wildcard finalists!
Hey Wellingtonista, how come you didn't tell us the finals were being shown beforehand?
Were they at the Embassy again? Damn, I would have gone ...
Also, we would've told you closer to the time but we (and by "we" I mean "I") didn't even remember early enough to get tickets for ourselves (again, "me")

Big ups to The Dropkicks' Mike for all those Re:Generation nominations (and a win for best actor)!
