Thanks Jo~ As alot of people on the wellingtonista seem to know eachother already, I was hoping I could slot myself in with some alumnis. Would anyone care to have me on their team? I have lots of general bits of knowledge to share! Here are a few..
1.* The name coffee comes from the Arabic word qahwah, meaning wine, and not from the town of Kaffa, in Ethiopia (Abyssinia), as many writers have supposed.
2. Banana peel has its uses as well. The peeling makes a good fertilizer for rose bushes. Simply dig a hole near the rose bush and bury the peeling.
3.Every person has a unique tongue print. Every square inch of the human body has an average of 32 million bacteria on it.
