Porirua can be slow too but when I was last there it was 50% off the sale price day and I got lots of cool fabric at $1 a metre!!! They seemed very short staffed for the volume of customers you'd expect on a day like that. The staff are always nice though. My niggle about the shops is they have these great big counters for cutting material but usually half covered in all sorts of stuff so they can't be used for serving cutomers
