They've had a lot of notice if they were really keen on finding a new site. I was hoping for Angelika to come along, as much to fill up that wasted site on Wakefield St as anything else. Now we're stuck with the Paramount as the only arthouse cinema in town, and that certainly has its detractors (apart from the fact that if it's raining, you can't hear a thing in the two small theatres).

Oh, at least there's always the Film Archive!
