Depends on the gig. At a quieter sort of concert (acoustic, jazz, ambient and some other genres) then standing around nodding sagely would be de rigeur. But going to a psychobilly, electro, punk, drum & bass etc etc gig and not dancing would seem to either missing the point or an indication that the act isn't quite firing.
