Thank you Robyn; risky AND irresponsible, since comments on websites are considered to be "published" with respect to libel laws and it would be the "publisher" of the Wellingtonista, not the author of the comment, that would be the target of any legal action. 

It'd be best to remove the original offending comment, I think.
