Probably because they're used to calling it "Jagie's*" (as in, "Man, I sucked two Jagie's off the floor.") and so weren't sure what the funny long word thing was.

* Yes, with an apostrophe for the plural.

I enjoyed the upstairs window in Brandon St over Christmas that had oH! oH! oH! written on the window. Kept thinking they were having more fun than me in there.
