The TAWAs: Vote!

Posted by Hadyn on Tuesday, 25 Nov 2008

UPDATE: Voting in the 2008 Wellingtonista Awards is now closed. Thanks to everyone who voted and please, come along to the Award night at Mighty Mighty on Thursday (all details here)

YES WE CAN.

It's been a big year for voting, and the fun doesn't stop just because the elections are over.

Over the past week we have been posting the nominees for The Annual Wellingtonista Awards (TAWAs) and now it's time for you to cast your vote and "elect" a winner. And the best part is that unlike the election there are no wrong votes.

The voting form is here (opens in a new window).

The winners will be announced at the award ceremony on Thursday, December 18 at Mighty Mighty. Details on that event will be posted here in the near future, but keep your diaries free (add it on Facebook if you like).

Finally, just in case you were thinking of not voting, we've got a little incentive for you. If you vote you go into the draw to win a fabulous prize pack on the night of the awards, the only catch is you have to be there (and only one vote per person)

Voting will remain open from now until 10am, Tuesday December 16. So you've got a littel bit of time to remind your deadbeat non-voting friends.

But you can't be an uninformed voter, so if you get stuck and can't think of which one you want to vote for here's the list again with links to the various posts explaining the nominees (and here's a map of the nominees).
