For those who use Wellington's train network, Transmetro has announced some changes that will come in on the 29th.

Due to proposed industrial action by ONTRACK track maintenance workers starting June 28 at 4:00pm, Tranz Metro will be running a modified Saturday timetable each weekday from Thursday June 29 until the resolution of the dispute.

Services additional to the Saturday timetable are:

• Paraparaumu line

  Departing Paraparaumu at 6:35am, 6:45am and 7:15am
  Departing Wellington at 4:50pm and 5:20pm.

• Hutt Valley line

  Departing Upper Hutt at 6:30am, 6:45am and 7:15am
  Departing Wellington at 4:50pm and 5:20pm.

• Johnsonville line

  Departing Johnsonville at 7:00am and 7:42am
  Departing Wellington at 4:47pm and 5:47pm.

• Wairarapa services will operate as usual.
• No services will operate
  on the Melling line.

In the event industrial action is not undertaken, normal weekday timetables will apply.
