- Wanda Harland alerts us to this weekend’s Petone Fair. A good excuse, as she points out, to try the new Petone Ferry (which leaves from Queens Wharf, and thus leads us nicely onto our next post…)
- Dave5 has photos of the Volvo Ocean Race arriving in port (where they’re to be tied up down by Queens Wharf) presumably taken from his office window (with a phonecam?). Kiwi-skippered ABN Amro One was pipped at the post by movistar. Only nine seconds difference after 1450 nautical miles of ocean racing!
