It’s time for alfresco cinema
And the weather could not be better!
Tomorrow eve (Wednesday 30 Jan) we’re excited about the first screening for the Films by Starlight series for 2013. And naturally, thanks to Mr Chris Morley-Hall, it’s BIGGER, BETTER and MOBILE. And they’re all free thanks to the Council’s Summer City programme.
No longer confined to the Dell at the Botanical Gardens, the film screenings will travel with a giant inflatable screen from Wainui to Nae Nae, Days Bay and more accompanied by the best food stalls Wellington has to offer. Has anyone tried the Dumpling House yet? They are there tomorrow night for the fabulous ‘Best in Show’. Every night food stalls run from 6:30. Screenings start at 8:30pm (or when it gets dark enough after this time).
People are even invited to bring their pets for ‘Best in Show’ and there’s a fish and chip prize for the Best Looking Dog tomorrow night. And if you missed Searching for Sugar Man in the Film Fest last year DO NOT MISS IT AGAIN.
Here’s the full line up for the season, organise your mates now. And keep an eye on the website www.filmsbystarlight.co.nz for cancellations….
