It’s time for alfresco cinema

And the weath­er could not be bet­ter!

Tomor­row eve (Wednes­day 30 Jan) we’re excit­ed about the first screen­ing for the Films by Starlight series for 2013. And nat­u­ral­ly, thanks to Mr Chris Mor­ley-Hall, it’s BIGGER, BETTER and MOBILE. And they’re all free thanks to the Coun­cil’s Sum­mer City pro­gramme.

No longer con­fined to the Dell at the Botan­i­cal Gar­dens, the film screen­ings will trav­el with a giant inflat­able screen from Wainui to Nae Nae, Days Bay and more accom­pa­nied by the best food stalls Welling­ton has to offer. Has any­one tried the Dumpling House yet? They are there tomor­row night for the fab­u­lous ‘Best in Show’. Every night food stalls run from 6:30. Screen­ings start at 8:30pm (or when it gets dark enough after this time).

Peo­ple are even invit­ed to bring their pets for ‘Best in Show’ and there’s a fish and chip prize for the Best Look­ing Dog tomor­row night. And if you missed Search­ing for Sug­ar Man  in the Film Fest last year DO NOT MISS IT AGAIN.
