Get ready to shake it, to the fabulous rhymes and sick beat of Goody Goody Glam Pop at Circus Bar for one more night!

Bethany Miller’s transformation into pop superstar Brooklyn Brooklyn of Brooklyn is Disney magic to behold as she shares her most pop-ular songs – Back to Back, Breathless, No FOMO, and Sufficient.

You will definitely get FOMO if you you miss out on this limited performance that’s harder to get into than Taylor Swift, or tonight’s competing Jonas Brothers’ concert.

The beautiful melodies by composer Logan Hunt, accompanied beautifully by Peter Liley are what dreams are made of. My friends and I laughed, screamed and, yes I even got Brooklyn’s autograph which was suitably dotted with hearts and kisses! No opportunity for fun is missed, no reverb is is left unvibrating thanks to Lucy Gray on lights and sound tech.

As a development season, the team have gone all out to make it as good as can be with original music from Logan Hunt (Battle Riffs master), instrumentation by Peter Liley, and dramaturgical expertise from Austin Harrison – everything he touches turns to gold!

Their limited performance season, that opened yesterday, is uniquely and thoroughly documented by Wellington’s own established journalist and superstar performer Megan Connolly, who interviews Brooklyn as Lucy Spectre, a megafan and “Brooklynite” and she throws a few surprises our way.

Drama, laughter, and hard hitting truths are the key to this blockbuster, worthy of the many MTV best kiss and other awards Brooklyn has won, but the biggest prize is my heart. She’ll win yours too but get in line mate. She’s only here for one more night tonight!

In a world of AI, Bethany and Logan are like a machine that you fill with your favourite pop songs and they pour out something even better, using the poppiest beats, the catchiest riffs and all the oohs and aahs to make you swoon.

One for the ages, Goody Goody Glam Pop is a heart filler for the young at heart, those brought up with Disney stars and catchy pop tunes you’ll have stuck in your head until next week. But listen deeper and you’ll find the heart break, the real issues and those profanities that can double album sales. I’ll be looking out for Brooklyn’s album and movie deal on its way any moment!

Don’t leave us Brooklyn, we love you!
