The Wellingtonista Bowling League Draw
It gives us tremendous pleasure to announce the draw of our Bowling League. Brave (but foolish for thinking they could possibly beat us) teams from Xero, Silverstripe, Click Suite, Clemenger BBDO and the fantastically named Bowltron will be taking part and therefore get massive karma points.
Round 1 will be Tuesday 24th at 8pm at The Lanes on Wakefield St.
The rules on the night are as follows:
- If at the end of the game your team's sum total (total of all four players) is higher than your opposition's then you get four competition points.
- If your team consumes more than four alcoholic beverages (or averages more than one per player) you get a bonus competition point
- The team with the highest sum total on the night gets an extra bonus point.
So if you booze up and roll like a god your team could come away with 6 points.
Expect to see many people at Clemenger crying on Wednesday morning after the Bowlingtonista give them the thrashing of their lives. Hurrah!
As a clarification, the drinks needs to be consumed by the bowlers during, or immediately prior to, the game.
My fault for not being clear when I sent through the rules.
If I'd have set the rules I would have made it at least a 3 drink minimum, so a dozen per team. Just as well the mathemagician did it and not the lush.

Is anyone short of a team member or two?
I was trying to put together a team, so far have only managed 2 people ... cheers.
Is it too late to submit a team in?
Kind of, because it will give us an uneven number and therefore by weeks and so on and so forth. But do you have a full team rearing and ready to go, and are you very interesting, networkable and/or attractive?
If only it were a point for every drink consumed, I could single handedly carry Clemenger into the final.
I think Bowlingtonsita are in for a shock when the Dr Broad and the Kingpins rock them like a hurricane.
