Wel­ling­ton’s Fringe Fest­iv­al is up and run­ning, and the one event we highly recom­mend you get along to see is the extremely com­plic­ated-sound­ing mul­ti­me­dia and per­form­ance extra­vang­za which goes by the very simple name of ‘Box’.

Doubt­less there will be many more events of qual­ity and acclaim, but when you put dozens of dan­cers, musi­cians, and assor­ted video jock­eys and noise-makers togeth­er in the same room, it prom­ises to be very very good. Or just plain scary. The only way to find out is by head­ing along.

Box is show­ing at The White Room off Lukes Lane from the 16–19th of Feb­ru­ary from 9pm, with an extra show planned for the 19th at 7pm. Tick­ets are $15 from ‘Good as Gold’ 140 Vic­tor­ia Street.
