The guy at the CHINA outlet in the Courtenay Central complex has twice claimed to me that his BBQ pork is the best in town.

Imagine my surprise: he is right! It’s sweet, tender, succulent, and in a pleasant twist — vermilion-coloured at its extremities rather than the traditional crimson.

The BBQ Pork Noodle Soup that it comes in is pretty good, too. Or, you can take it on rice with a delicious gravy.

(Now, if only he would tell me that indeed YES, they are serving the advertised Roast Duck Noodle Soup instead of being “right out of duck”).
