Fea­tur­ing lead vocal­ist Moana Ete, and accom­pan­ied by the rhythm sec­tion of Slade But­ler and Mar­cus Gurt­ner  A Girl Named Mo deb­uted ‘Mud & Star­dust’ dur­ing Fly my Pret­ties’ August shows. A cool mix of R&B + elec­tron­ic and one of the pret­ti­est songs I’ve listened to for a while.

Each per­form­ance will be recor­ded live, with the record­ings to be released as a live album in Decem­ber.

 

Shot Bro – con­fes­sions of a depressed bul­let

A black com­edy about a real life fight with depres­sion, per­formed by mul­tiple award-win­ning act­or, Rob Mokaraka. It’s a mix of stand-up com­edy, expert dance moves, mime and pup­petry.  The show dis­cusses Mokaraka’s exper­i­ence with depres­sion, sui­cide and hope, so please take this into con­sid­er­a­tion when you go. It’s enter­tain­ing and edu­ca­tion­al. (It left me ugly cry­ing in my seat while every­one else was on their feet for a stand­ing ova­tion so your mileage may vary.)

There’s a for­um after the show and I encour­age you to stay for it to share your stor­ies, listen to oth­ers, and sup­port each oth­er.
