Hamish McKay Gallery reopens

Submitted by stephen clover on Tuesday, 05 Jun 2007.

(via White Fungus News...)

The new Hamish McKay Gallery is now open at Level one, 39 Ghuznee Street.

More info after the jump.

This would -- I think -- make it upstairs above the Bowen Galleries?

The first exhibition features work by Australian artists Anne-Marie May and Rose Nolan.

Close: that's actually next door to Bowen Galleries, in the Masonic building above the model shop. Bowen Galleries are at #35.

Ahhh.. thank you Tom. That makes more sense, since I was certain that Access Radio is still in the space above Bowen Galleries and Milk Crate.

I'm intrigued by the "unfinished" look of the gallery floor in the photograph, I wonder if that is a deliberate aesthetic.
