If you are in New­town this week­end watch out for fans of fab­ric and all things hand­made, Novem­ber fab­ric-a-brac is full – and rar­ing to go. Fab­ric’s  com­ing out of closets, suit­cases and secret hid­ing places around the city.

Expect the usu­al mix of old, not-so-old, funky, mod­ern, new, uphol­stery and, well, gen­er­ally  heaps of won­der­ful fab­ric and sew­ing accessor­ies. If you’ve got pieces of qual­ity fab­ric you’d like to donate, you can do so to helps raise money for Hos­pice – see www.fabricabrac.co.nz for drop off points.

You can also bring along your scis­sors to be sharpened plus there are some ses­sions fea­tur­ing Mindy from Juni­per and Ann Pack­er.
