Henry OlongaFormer Zimbabwean cricketer Henry Olonga will speak at a public meeting in Wellington on Thursday.

Olonga, along with fellow player Andy Flower, caused a stir at the 2003 Cricket World Cup by wearing black armbands during all his matches.

Olonga fled his homeland shortly afterwards and now lives in London.

The Green Party has brought Olonga to New Zealand for a week-long “It’s Just Not Cricket” speaking tour about the Black Caps’ planned trip to Zimbabwe next month.

All members of the public are welcome to attend an open forum with Mr Olonga at St Andrew’s On The Terrace on Thursday evening at 7:30pm.
