If you are in New­town this week­end watch out for fans of fab­ric and all things hand­made, Novem­ber fab­ric-a-brac is full – and rar­ing to go. Fab­ric’s  com­ing out of clos­ets, suit­cas­es and secret hid­ing places around the city.

Expect the usu­al mix of old, not-so-old, funky, mod­ern, new, uphol­stery and, well, gen­er­al­ly  heaps of won­der­ful fab­ric and sewing acces­sories. If you’ve got pieces of qual­i­ty fab­ric you’d like to donate, you can do so to helps raise mon­ey for Hos­pice — see www.fabricabrac.co.nz for drop off points.

You can also bring along your scis­sors to be sharp­ened plus there are some ses­sions fea­tur­ing Mindy from Juniper and Ann Pack­er.
