There’s a group of truly awesome people in Wellington who do great things, and they’re having a party. Doesn’t that sound like the sort of thing you should attend? Yes!

Come to the WYFC’s first birthday, and help us celebrate our first year and bring in our second.

In the last year we’ve helped raise the profile of feminism in Wellington and provided a space for people to learn, talk, and laugh their asses off together.

We’ve had fundraisers for local organisations, self-defence events, political forums, parties and campaigns. We’ve made noise in the media, on the streets and through the interwebs. Now it’s time to throw on our glad rags and dance the night away. And that means you.

In 2012 we want to keep doing what we do best, as well as launching a proper website, which our birthday will help fundraise for. Everyone is welcome, so come spend your extra weekend night with us – you can sleep in the next day (it’s a public holiday). Hangover optional.
