Carter Observatory, that big old bubble up on the hill, is running a photography contest with a buttload of prizes, and you should enter it. The title is “Light & Dark” and anything under that goes.  Judges include Mark Gee, who you may remember from such moon photos as this.

There’s a kids’ category too, and we’ve heard a whisper not too many have entered this section, so your young person (up to and including age 14) stands a good chance of taking home an iPad mini and a session in the Capital E Digital Studios for their whole class.

Entries close on Nov 29, so get in there before we fill up the ballot box with pictures of our very special moons…
