seasons changing so it must be time for knack

by Sue Tyler on March 21, 2014 in Crafts, Events

I’m not sure about everyone else, but as a crafty person and lover of handmade fairs where the focus is on locally designed and created items, I measure my seasons by Knack Craft Market

autumn knack

I know it’s autumn, not because of the weather, or the dates but because knack tells me so. Held at Berhampore School, in Britomart Street (off Adelaide Road) Knack run as a fundraiser for the school, an incubator of sorts for Wellington’s emerging crafters, a place for established crafters to launch new designs, and some excellent  shopping  experiences.

If it’s nice things for you, your house, for friends, for family, you’ll find something at knack, the carefully curated crafts on offer makes sure you are not going to a ‘jewellery fair’ or ‘a baby clothes fair’ . Knack works as many things to many people.

With two shopping sessions for your convenience there’s no excuse to miss Autumn Knack. Friday night 6-8pm for a more grown-up vibe or Saturday from 9:30am – come to one or both, you won’t be disappointed!

Both Sessions have Live music

– Friday evening,  Amiria Grenell
– Saturday,  Black Spider Stomp

Plus, fresh coffee and cakes and hot food available.

EFTPOS and free parking available on-site.

or just catch the number one bus.
